Biography

Janeen Norland holds a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education with a content specialization in Mathematics. She is the 2006 North Dakota receipient of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching. Janeen has been teaching K-2 since 1971 and retired in May 2008. She has prestented at several state and regional NCTM Conferences and has provided numerious staff development opportunities. Janeen is also a member of the peer review panel for the Public Television mathematics series Cyberchase.
