Master’s Degree: 2007, TX State University, Applied Geography with a concentration in geography education. Teaching employment: 1979-2005, Minot Public Schools, grades 2, 4, 6; 1969-1971, Minot Public Schools, grade 4, 1967-1968, Immanuel Lutheran School, Glenburn, ND, grades 2 and 3, 1965-1967, Grace Lutheran School, Fargo, ND, grade 3 and 4, 1964-1965, Trinity Lutheran School, Delray Beach, FL, grade 3.  Professional background: ND Geographic Alliance and National Geographic Society (NGS) Teacher Consultant, ND Public Engagement Coordinator for geographic literacy, National Council of Geography Educators, Passport to Knowledge Teacher Advocate (NASA, National Science Foundation), Reviewer of A Teacher’s Guide to Performance-Based Assessment in Geography, NGS Participant in “Review and Critique Workshop” for Mission Geography K-4, modules linking the skill and content of the National Geography Standards with NASA’s missions and results, Facilitator of K-5 ND Social Studies Performance Levels Writing Team, Member of State Standard’s Awareness Team 2001-2002.
