Questions Answered

How can you create and present a multimedia presentation to other students and receive immediate feedback and questions from the students?
What successful accomplishments did Pharaohs have and how did these accomplishments impact the Ancient Egyptians?
What obstacles did they have to overcome as a Pharaoh?

Procedures

1.  In collaborative groups students will research an Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh using the Internet, Delicious Websites, textbook, and library media resources.
2.  Students will create an organizer or timeline about the pharaoh of their choice using Inspiration or xTimeliner. Students will list dates of their pharaoh’s rule, accomplishments during their rule, and other facts discovered about their selected Pharaoh during research.
3.  Students can create pictures of the Pharaoh using a computer based program, or scan in their artwork.
4.  Students will use Citation Maker to cite any sources used during their research project.
5.  These documents will be uploaded into their VoiceThread presentations.
6.  As each group presents the members of the class will be signed into VoiceThread and give comments or ask questions about the presentation.
