This year’s keynote speaker is Dan Fuller, education policy director for ASCD. Dan will provide the latest information on ASCD policy initiatives in Washington, including the reauthorization of NCLB and Title II, as well as information on the ASCD Whole Child initiative.

This two-day conference, titled “Passage to the American Dream” is designed
to bring together people of the community who provide services and care for
refugee and immigrant families, as well as those who came to our communities
and are now our neighbors, co-workers, and fellow citizens.

opportunity to start a new life. The conference will provide individual
experiences from first generation refugees and many workshops that will
enhance your understanding of the different organizations and people who
work to provide services to Refugees and Immigrants.
